0704 Resilience and resurrection

Resilience and resurrection We have just celebrated the Resurrection of our Divine Lord and we would like to talk to you about the relationship between resilience and resurrection or how in his/her life each human being experiences death and resurrection. How is Gerard, an abused child, going to find the strength to start a family and to be a thoughtful and loving father? How do the people crushed by concentration camps, dictatorships, wars… find the strength to start again like Barbara, the singer, who was raped during the war and... [Lire la suite]

On that day the Church also honours aborted babies and all the innocent children victims of war, of persecution and of the blind madness of men. Summary of issues 18,19 and 21.

Our newsletter has now too many issues to send them all in the ‘starting mail’. Here is a small summary of issues 18,19 and 21. Issue 18 – April 2003: GIVING TESTIMONY AFTER THE REVELATIONS IN THE USA A few months ago there was an explosion of evil in the Church of the USA. The Pope and the cardinals of this Church had strong, urgent and courageous words. An evil that is exposed is for those who ignore evil a scandal. And here there is a scandal. Mary is the image of the good mother par excellence: - She is the... [Lire la suite]

The numbers of our bulletin are henceforth too many to be possible to send them all in the ‘opening mail’. So here is a short summary of numbers 13 and 14. N° 13, March 2002: The good father In this time of lent, we are looking forward to Easter. But we must also go through all the passion of our Saviour Jesus Christ. How may we not recognise in his Passion the sufferings of those children who are beaten, betrayed, humiliated, raped? How is it possible not to question ourselves about the Father? ‘Father, why have you abandoned me?’... [Lire la suite]

summary of issues 5,6,7 and 11.

Our newsletter has now too many issues to send them all in the “starting mail”. Here is a small summary of issues 5,6,7 and 11.   ISSUE 5: A SACERDOTAL PEOPLE: “None of those taking part in our community needs to be spurred on praying. Everyone knows how important it is. I would like simply to underline one aspect to serve better. Our prayer of Christians is not the addition of individual prayers. It is not either a prayer to be confided to a priest to become the prayer of the Church. It is the prayer of one of the members of... [Lire la suite]
